Join the Anger Management Program at our Counseling Center
The anger management program at The Anger & Counseling Instituteof Pittsburgh takes place in a group setting. Trust and confidentiality are the foundations upon which the group is formed.
The Program Models The anger management program is based upon Choice/RET models of treatment. Group participants are guided through key concepts and skills of anger management. These skills include recognizing anger cues, creating control plans, cognitive techniques, and assertiveness training.
Group Details The anger management program consists of eight groups held on weekday evenings. Groups last two hours and meet once per week. There are 8 to 10 participants per group. You will receive a letter and certificate upon successful completion.
Group Fees The group fees are affordable and flex based on need. In addition, most insurances are accepted.
Anger Management Program:
The purpose of the Anger Management Program is to help individuals learn improved methods of handling their situations. Group participants will be guided through key concepts and skills of anger management. These skills include reorganizing anger cues, creating control plans, learning cognitive techniques and assertiveness training. By handling situations more effectively, group members will experience more effectively, group members will experience many positive benefits.

Aftercare Support Program (A.S.P.)
The A.S.P. Program is a group run to support male and female adults recovering from drug and alcohol abuse. Are you in recovery and want to address life issues and stressors that jeopardize a strong recovery? These issues and stressors include:
